MBTA Cryptography Security Analysis

Security analysis and cryptographic code breaking project where we found vulnerabilities in Boston's transit fare collection system. Utilized massively parallel computing infrastructure (FPGA-based), software defined radio, and custom data analysis software.

Autonomous vehicle (AV) project where we used a combination of vision, LIDAR, GPS, IMU, relative ground sensing, and other sensors to self-drive an Acura MDX.

Echo Dome

Giant 4,500 RGB LED geodesic dome, with individually-addressable lights. Controller used 3D spatial sound over 5 3D speakers to coordinate custom light shows with the LED array. Built in Cambridge, and assembled in Black Rock Desert, NV.

Automated Water Fountain

Pond-sized recreation of the computer-controlled water jet fountain at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Each water nozzle is individually controlled along one pivot axis, with on/off action and several controlled LED and halogen lights synchronized with the music.

LED Light Wall

The LED light wall is a 24-watt, 8-section, digitally-controlled wall of light that can sequence through any color in the visible spectrum. It has several built-in animations and can also be controlled by a PC to sequence to music.
